Paula Andrade

Comic book author, writer and illustrator based in Buenos Aires. One of the current voices in the Argentinian comic book scene, Paula plays with supernatural and mythological elements to showcase human emotions and relationships. A social animal, she also teaches and holds workshops on digital art, making comics and publishing, and organizes talks and events that promote the diversity of comic book’s authors, contents and styles.

Some of her books are: Cría Cuervos, Oveja Negra, Pornipulpis and Rakas, (the product of three artist residencies in Finland); and her illustrations have been showcased internationally and published in books such as American Monsters Pt1 and Frank Miller’s Xerxes #1.

She’s also the founder of Gutter Glitter, a small press publishing house based on Buenos Aires.
