Brazilian artist Walter Geovani began his professional career in 2004 at Avatar Press, drawing covers for Lady Death and Lady Death: Medieval and the War Angel miniseries. In 2007 he joined Dynamite Entertainment, where he has drawn many Red Sonja books, including Red Sonja Vol. 1, Wrath of the Gods, Blue, Prophecy and Red Sonja/Tarzan, as well as the monthly Vampirella and numerous covers for Dejah Thoris and Red Sonja. From 2023 to 2025 he was the lead artist of the ongoing Red Sonja series written by Torunn Grønbekk. He has also drawn Doctor Who: Supremacy of the Cybermen for Titan Comics and issues of Clean Room, written by Gail Simone, for DC/Vertigo.
