Jok (Buenos Aires, 1974) is a cartoonist, scriptwriter, illustrator and colorist working professionally since 1993. In 1999 he co-founded the publishing house La Productora, which launched 15 titles in Argentina. His comics have been published in the United States (Heavy Metal), England (Aces Weekly, Titan), France (Mosquito), Italy (Aurea Editoriale), Spain, China, Brazil and across South America, and in 2016 he won the Carlos Trillo award for best artist for Merlin. As an illustrator he has worked for educational publishers such as Santillana, Pearson, Macmillan, McGraw Hill, Harcourt, Capstone and Scholastic.
